Find architectural support for a business space, fit-out or development.
Search is free. Choose the architects you want to approach; participation and availability are confirmed before an introduction. A listing is not a promise that a firm can take on your project.
What should you establish first?
A commercial brief should connect the design to how the business operates: customer flow, staff needs, accessibility, servicing and the programme for opening.
Your first-meeting checklist
- Business use and occupancy
- lease or ownership constraints
- planning use
- fire and access strategy
- fit-out scope
- operational disruption
What should the proposal include?
Agree who coordinates planning, building control, specialist consultants, landlord approvals and construction information. Confirm the architect’s experience in your sector, capacity and professional insurance.
Compare a clear written scope
Check the named professional, relevant project experience, services, exclusions, revisions and fee basis. Confirm registration and insurance before appointment. RIBA membership and ARB registration are different checks; a directory listing does not establish both.

For businesses commissioning a project
Include the site address, sector, intended use, floor area if known, budget basis and target opening date. Explain whether the property is leased and whether the premises must remain operational during the work. Keep confidential business information out of an initial enquiry.
For commercial architect firms
Apply to receive project introductions and describe your actual sectors, services, relevant projects and operating areas. Homeowners and business clients choose whom to approach. Lead opportunities arrive by email with a summary and displayed price; no architect dashboard is needed.

How do I find someone near my project?
Use the directory location filter with your town or postcode, then compare the evidence on each profile. Office location alone does not establish a firm’s service area.
